Responsibilities: You will: 1. Perform structural and civil engineering designs for the various company’s projects. 2. Ensure engineering quality through reviews and checks of the work of lower grade engineers and technicians. 3. Perform structural and civil engineering design calculations, prepare technical reports, develop design criteria, select material and determine physical arrangements for structural and civil features; taking into account performance, cost, operability, maintainability and applicable codes and standards. 4. Develop, review and interpret engineering drawings and data. 5. Direct the preparation of engineering record drawings for equipment installation and maintenance. 6. Prepare engineering cost estimates. 7. Plan, develop, coordinate, lead and direct the performance of projects of moderate scope or parts of major projects.

Assignments generally involve conventional structural and civil engineering practice but may include more complex engineering and interpersonal issues which require mature judgment and innovative approaches.

You must have a good first degree in Civil Engineering with a successful track record in structural engineering designs. Experience working on telecoms projects will be an advantage. You must have demonstrable team management experience and good leadership skills. Dedicated to making a difference, you must be creative and innovative with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You must be dynamic and open to new ideas with excellent communication and people skills. Of utmost importance, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. You must be COREN certified.
